Gabbie & Alice Turn 9…Save The Canine!
You saw them last year on Ellen trying to raise money for area food shelters for their 8th Birthday. Ellen Degeneres donated $20,000 to their cause rounding up their donations to $40,000. This year, Gabbie & Alice are back at it. This time raising money for local animal shelters for their 9th Birthday!
Today, I was invited to their Birthday Party at the Humane Society Waterville Area. Instead of presents, the girls wanted donations for the shelter. Boy, did they get a lot of stuff! If you didn't make it in to make a donation for Gabbie & Alice, that is OK. This is a year long fundraising event and the girls have several locations you can make donations to.
They are teamed up with Humane Societies in the Somerset, Androscoggin & Kennebec Counties. Also the Coastal Humane Society. This year long fundraising effort is supported by:
