A little scare at Gardiner High School Wednesday morning. There was a brief lockdown after a former student confronted a current student inside the school. The incident happened around 10 am and lasted about a half-hour. According to the Bangor Daily News, "When a school is locked down, teachers and students are required to head for the nearest room and remain there until police clear them to leave." When the former student left the building and school grounds the lockdown was cleared. Gardiner police anticipate that charges will be filed against the former student.

GAHS did have a lock down today and the lock down has been resolved. The general student population was not in any harm, the lock down occured due to a confrontation between a non-student and a student.
