Gas Prices are Still Going Down for the Holiday Season

If you have travel plans this is great news. Gas prices are still going down. By cents and not dollars, but they are still getting a little lower. However, Maine gas prices are still above the national average.

MaineGasPrices.com said that the average cost of a gallon of gas in Maine dropped by nearly 4 cents in the past week, to $3.48. OK, I have paid a lot more for gas. But nationally, prices dropped by 8 cents a gallon to $3.25.  To make your brain do a little more math, Maine gas prices are now 12 cents a gallon lower than a month ago, but 14 cents higher than the same day last year.
