Gas Prices Down Again This Week In Maine

Maine gas prices were down just over 5 cents a gallon in the past week, the statewide average is now at $3.09 cents a gallon. Nationally the average for a gallon of gas is under $3 a gallon!

The national average is $2.99 a gallon and this is the first time since December 22, 2010 that the national gas average is under $3 a gallon.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported at a gas station in Belfast and Clifton at $2.89 a gallon.

The lowest gas price that I have seen in Augusta was $2.97 a gallon.
