The Lewiston/Auburn Greek Festival is coming up this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Holy Orthodox Greek Church at 155 Hogan Road in Lewiston.

This annual event features 3 days filled with Greek food, dancing, music and more.

This year the festival will be Thursday, September 6th from 4-8pm and Friday the 7th  and Saturday the 8th from 11am until 10pm. This is different from year's past when the festival was held from Friday through Sunday.

Enjoy plenty of tasty, homemade Greek food. May I recommend my favorite Greek dish, Pastitsio. It's kind of a Greek spin on lasagna. Other popular Greek dishes include, Spanakopita, Souvlaki, Moussaka and Gyro's! Save room for desert! Most Greek deserts have plenty of honey and Baklava is the most popular.

There'll be Greek music and dancing on Friday and Saturday nights and plenty more events for the whole family.

Make sure you say 'Yasoo', that's Greek greeting of hello!

So, 'Get you Greek On' this week in Lewiston.
