Good Shepherd Food Bank Coming to Jefferson
Good Shepherd Food Banks’s Mobile will make a stop in Jefferson on Wednesday, August 26th. The mobile will be at St. Giles Church at 72 Gardiner Road.
Stop by from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to pick up fresh produce, meat, bread and other nonperishable items. The distribution of food will be for anyone in need of food assistance in the Jefferson and surrounding areas. Bring your own boxes and bags to carry the food as they are not usually available.
The Jefferson Food pantry closed in December 2014 but a new one is planned to open in September at the church.
