The next piece of technology that will make you scratch you head, as in how do they do that will probably be Google contact lenses that include a built-in cameras. Known as Google Glass, they will be activated by the wearer.

Google already has Google Glass and have now filed a patent for Google Contact Lenses. They will not be voice activated, there will be a system of ‘blinking patterns’ to control the contact lenses. They also will allow the wearer to look wider than a normal set of contacts. The lenses could give the blind the ability to see certain things. The built-in camera will have the ability to process data from an image of the camera.

Just because there is a rumor of patents for the camera-contact lenses doesn’t mean they will be developed for mass sale any time too soon. Still a lot of testing needs to be done. But wouldn’t be cool?
