'Gravity,' starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, continues to pick up steam as we travel farther along this Oscars race. Part of the magic that is Alfonso Cuaron's latest, which is already getting critic praise for its visuals, actor performances and story, is the alluring soundtrack by Steven Price. To give you an auditory preview of what to expect, take a listen to the entire soundtrack, now released online from Water Tower Music.

Price has composed the soundtracks for Edgar Wright's 'The World's End' and Joe Cornish's 'Attack the Block,' and has worked as a music editor on such films as 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy and 'Batman Begins,' but his compositions for 'Gravity' will surely provide him a proper spotlight. The music itself is ethereal, at times accentuating Cuaron's illusion of floating about an expansive, dark space, while offering a variety of musical moments to accompany the tension and breathtaking visuals.

In 'Gravity,' Bullock, playing a medical engineer, and Clooney, playing a veteran astronaut, are on a routine spacewalk that goes awry when debris from a nearby exploding satellite throw them into open space. With dwindling oxygen, the two struggle to make contact with anyone while tethered to nothing but each other.

'Gravity' opens in theaters on October 4. The official soundtrack is available to purchase.
