Great Stories From The 15th Annual ‘Tanks’giving Food Drive

The 15th annual 'Tanks'giving Food Drive has wrapped up and a huge thank you to all of you who donated food and money that will be helping many families throughout central Maine.

We also want to thank the supermarkets that allowed us to collect the food. Walmart in Augusta and Farmington, Shaw's in Augusta and Waterville, Goggin's IGA in Randolph and George's Banana Stand in Skowhegan.

We also thank the Maine Army National Guard for their tireless help. The Kennebec County Sheriff's Department, The Franklin County Sheriff's Department, the Waterville Fire Department and the Skowhegan Fire Department also volunteered their time for this year's food drive.

I was live on location at Goggin's IGA in Randolph and at Walmart in Farmington and the generosity was overwhelming.  So many people would shake the hands of the Maine Army National Guard and the Sheriff's Departments and Fire Departments.
