Growing Trend: Adult Summer Camps

With school out for the summer, many kids in central Maine will be going to summer camp. A growing trend is now summer camps for adults.It combines the fun of a tradition summer camp and them some adult twists to camp.

Camp Throwback in Clarksville, Ohio is one of these new adult summer camps. Brittney Gibbons who launched Camp Throwback last year was inspired by the summers of her childhood.

Camp Throwback features activities like making friendship bracelets, watermelon eating contests, and swimming.

But unlike kids summer camp, the fun rises to a higher level. They have drunk field day, hangover yoga and sober archery practice. The adult beverages flow and parties galore at night.
