My Loss Is the Community’s Gain-I Will Shave My Hair for $5,000 for Area Food Banks…WHAT?

I feel a little like Lucy from ‘I Love Lucy’…with a wacky idea. Well, this is wacky. See, I want to do something BIG and DRAMATIC for my birthday this year. I am having a ‘big birthday’ this year. So, I want to raise some big money for the ‘B98.5 Tanksgiving Food Drive’.  I will shave my head….for a price! $5000 …or more! 

Go big or go home lets help out the food banks in central Maine.

Yeppers. $5000 is the price for my hair. IF, with your help, I raise $2,500 then Supercuts will match it up to $2,500. Boom! There is my FIVE THOSAND DOLLARS! But really, if we collect over $2,500 it all will be added in and used for this years ‘B98.5 Tanksgiving Food Drive’. But I need your help and well, to be blunt, I need your money to help feed kids and families in central Maine.

You can donate at any SuperCuts location in Maine. They will have donation jars for cash. SuperCuts had two beautiful locations in Augusta, and one in Waterville as well as Auburn, Bath, Lewiston, Thomaston and Topsham.

All of the money that is donated to the ‘B98.5 Tanksgiving Food Drive’ is pooled and donated to local food banks.  For every dollar that is donated, its buying power expands, making that dollar, in the hands of a food bank, worth many times that amount.
