Hallmark Channel Annouces the Kitten Bowl on Super Sunday
After the popularity of the Puppy Bowl on the Animal Planet on Super Bowl Sunday, the Hallmark Channel announced they will put on the Kitten Bowl. It will be a three-hour special on Super Sunday that they are calling the "greatest feline showdown in cable television history". The event will consist of hoop jumping, hurdles, A-frame Alpine scratchers, tunnels and weave poles.
The Hallmark Channel is doing the Kitten Bowl along with the American Human Society with every kitten in the ‘bowl’ being adoptable. Animal Planet has hosted the Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday for nine years and says Hallmark is ripping them off..err..'copy cats', but also say imitation is the best form of flattery. Now, if you’re not into the Super Bowl, you’ll have two options on Super Sunday, the Puppy Bowl or the Kitten Bowl.
