Halloween Movies That Will Scare You

If you’re looking to watch a scary movie or two this Halloween here are the top 5 Halloween movies the experts say are a ‘must see’ of All Hallows Eve.

1. Halloween: This is the movie with Michael Myers and his signature mask.
2. Friday the 13^th: This original movie saw a lot of sequels with the same name but was also a catalyst for a whole host of slasher movies.
3. 28 Weeks Later: The original movie in the franchise was ’28 Days Later’ and had a bigger budget that ‘Weeks Later’. In this movie zombies are not as slow and lumbering but are fast and can run.
4. Evil Dead 2: this is considered a classic among horror fans. Not so much a sequel to the original as it is a retelling of the original movie. Both of the ‘evil’ movies do an excellent job of mixing humor with gore.
5. Paranormal Activity 3: It seems like the bulk of this movie looks like it was shot with a home video camera and the acting (although better that 1 & 2) is bad but the special effects are clever. Grandma Lois turns out to be one of the scariest horror movie villains, a true nightmare mother-in-law.
