Sounds like something from Jurassic Park and it may never happen, but professor George Church of Harvard Medical School is looking for an ‘adventurous woman’ so he can implant the DNA of a Neanderthal cloned embryo into her womb.

The Neanderthal went extinct 33,000 years ago but Professor Church thinks it’s entirely possible to clone a prehistoric man.  Creating the DNA from Neanderthal bones and their genetic code, he would inject cells into an embryo and then the mother. The United States forbids cloning and some scientist agree it wouldn’t be accepted, in general, by the public. There’s not a lot of DNA around from a million years ago but Professor Church believes cloning Dinosaurs and Neanderthal is possible.
