Have You Ever Heard Of Pomology?

Well neither did I until this morning when my boss asked me if I knew what it was. So naturally my interest was piqued and I immediately did some Googling. Turns out my Googling came through and I discovered the Maine State Pomological Society. They are a group of apple orchards throughout the state of Maine dedicated to strengthening  the agricultural industry in Maine.

I never knew this was a thing! I mean, I knew there were apple orchards and people loved to pick them, but I had no idea there was a group connection for them and I think that's amazing! Now apple season began back in August and will go through the end of the month so if you are looking to go apple picking, now is the time to go!
