With one of the coldest mornings of the season so far, the news from the Governor's Energy Office isn't good for Mainers who use heating oil to heat their homes.Prices for home heating oil rose three cents a gallon for an average of $3.64. Prices for kerosene and propane both rose by eight cents per gallon.

The average prices this week are now higher than at any time last year, but are still much lower than prices during the 2011-2012 heating season.

So, breakout the blankets, fleeces, and hunker down for a long winter!
