Garth Brooks shows no signs of slowing down after his big Entertainer of the Year win at the 2016 CMA Awards. He's set to mentor the Top 12 artists on Season 11 of The Voice on Nov. 14.
NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center airs November 30, featuring musical guests and the lighting of the tree. Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will all be present to perform during the Christmas spectacular.
Two of country music’s leading ladies are named among the highest paid women across all of music for 2016. Forbes Magazine has tapped Taylor Swift as the highest ranking woman in the music industry, earning $170 million this year, while Shania Twain rounds out the Top 10 with a revenue of $27.5 million for 2016.
The finalists have been announced for 2016 Billboard Touring Awards, and this year’s genre-spanning list honors two of country’s heavyweights: Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan. Both Chesney and Bryan have been named finalists for the Top Package award. This honor recognizes tours with three or more acts. The 2016 Billboard Touring Awards will be held on Nov. 9 in Beverly Hills, California.
