With snow still covering soccer fields in Eastern Maine, some high school soccer regional title games have changed locations while others are on hold. The class B boys game between Ellsworth and Oceanside has moved to the artificial turf at Maine Maritime Academy in Castine at 7pm on Wednesday. The Orono vs. Central class C boys game as well as the Bangor Christian vs. Ashland class D boys games are on hold until a field has been found. Hampden Academy and Husson University soccer fields are artificial surfaces, but those schools have indicated they are waiting for the snow to melt rather than remove it.
