High Winds Caused Power Outages for Thousands of Mainers

Yesterday’s high winds caused power outages for thousands of Mainers.  That list included… ME! I don’t normally loose power in Augusta, but I did yesterday for about an hour.  Since I live close to the radio station, you might have noticed it had a few power issues as well. But happily MOST of us are starting the day with the power back on! As of early this morning, about 2000 Mainers without power.

Shadowdog seemed very distressed by the absolute quite in the house with out power. There was no hum of a computer, TV or refrigerator. He quickly got over it and went back to sleep. Me?  I sat in the kitchen, where the afternoon sun was streaming in and was reading a book.
