Commuters that rely on getting on I-95 at Exit 113 in Augusta will be happy to hear that it will be reopening for traffic on Monday afternoon.Traffic has been detoured since April 22nd, with motorists having to take Route 104 to Sidney to gain access northbound on I-95.

It's all part of a $13 million improvement of the interchange. Plans include wider shoulders along Old Belgrade Road, improvements on Route 27, new stoplights and two roundabouts.

The project will link Route 3 directly with Civic Center Drive and pass the new regional hospital.

The next major road closure is scheduled for July and will effect traffic on the Old Belgrade Road.
