Is This Crossing The Pumpkin Line?

Now, I've seen it all.  Pumpkin has taken the world by storm.  Everything, this time of year, is pumpkin.  Pumpkin pies, breads, cereal, coffee, ice cream and even household items like candles and cleaning products.  Japan is even serving pumpkin sauce on their french fries at McDonald's.  Has the pumpkin trend gone a little too far?

Well, now Hannaford has a new line of pumpkin.  Their Inspirations Line of delil meat now features Pumpkin Spiced Ham.  I just don't even know where I stand on this concept.  What kind of bread would go best with pumpkin ham?  My taste buds are confused and I haven't even tried it.
