The national manhunt for Maine's former top drug prosecutor has ended. James Cameron, who was convicted of downloading child pornography, was captured Sunday morning in Albuquerque, N.M.

James Cameron of Rome had been the subject of speculation after he jumped bail after cutting off his ankle bracelet monitor on Nov. 15. That was less than 12 hours after a three-judge panel of the federal appeals court in Boston upheld seven of his 13 convictions for possessing and downloading child pornography.

According to the U.S. Marshals Service, the 50 year old was arrested after surrendering without incident at Hastings Entertainment, a store that sells books, DVDs, video games and electronics.
