Jana Kramer has been rocking the Dancing With the Stars stage for eight weeks now alongside Russian dancer Gleb Savchenko. Unfortunately, the singer’s dancing partner recently suffered a knee injury and is temporarily out of the competition.

Kramer posted a video on Snapchat on Thursday (Nov. 3), showing Savchenko lying on a table at the doctor’s office with the caption, “Gleb is hurt,” followed by a sad face.

Fellow DWTS member Alan Bersten will fill Savchenko’s dancing shoes for the time being as Kramer’s partner gets some rest and heals up. Kramer took to social media once again to post a photo of her new partner, Bersten, calling him “the new Gleb." She also shared a photo of Savchenko, who’s sporting a knee brace, and herself and Bersten, all pouting at the camera with disgruntled faces at her partner’s unfortunate ailment.

But Savchenko is keeping high spirits, posting the same photo on Instagram but with a more positive outlook on the predicament. He says he hopes he’ll be healed well enough to perform during Monday's (Nov. 7) competition, also thanking Bersten for honorably dancing in his place.

This isn’t the first injury the DWTS couple has endured. The “I Got the Boy” singer also dealt with a distressing impairment when during rehearsals earlier this season, she sprained her rib muscles before performing a tango number with Savchenko. The duo recently earned a perfect 10 after a performance on Latin Night to Selena Gomez’s hit “Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself.”
