'American Idol' was brimming with country music during its Season 13 finale on Wednesday (May 21). Lady Antebellum and Jennifer Nettles showed viewers how it's done, by performing a few of their hits.

'Idol' finalists Caleb Johnson and Jena Irene sang a few lines of Lady A's 'Need You Now' a cappella before introducing the trio, who immediately launched into their catchy, girl-power anthem 'Bartender.'

Lead vocalist Hillary Scott lit up the stage (literally) in a sequined, sparkly, outfit, and Dave Haywood treated fans to a fantastic guitar solo. As always, the Grammy-winning band nailed the vocals, turning in another solid performance.

Nettles brought her sassy song 'That Girl' to the 'Idol' stage. It's always a crowd pleaser, due to its jazz and flamenco-inspired beats.  Wearing a flowy white shirt and black pants embroidered with roses (which surprisingly worked on the singer), she looked and sounded amazing.

After 'That Girl,' 'Idol' fourth runner-up Jessica Meuse joined Nettles onstage for Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball.' Darius Rucker also performed, singing 'True Believers' and 'Alright' with country 'Idol' contestant Dexter Roberts and C.J. Harris. Other performers included Demi Lovato, Jason Mraz, KISS, John Legend, and Aloe Blacc.

Look for Lady Antebellum at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. June 19-22.
