The Patriots will play for the AFC championship this Sunday night, and that can only mean one thing. Spring training and the Red Sox can't be far off.

And if you watch many Sox games like I do, you will be happy to hear that Jerry Remy is coming back for his 30th season as color analyst.

According to Boston.Com, Remy agreed to a multiyear contract extension and will work 115 games per season. Terms were not disclosed.

Remy has been associated with the Red Sox organization for almost 40 years as a player, minor league coach, and the last 29 as a NESN broadcaster. During his 29 year broadcasting career he has worked over 3,900 Red Sox games.
