Joey “Jaws” Chestnut Regains the Mustard Yellow International Belt
Joey “Jaws” Chestnut regained the Mustard Yellow International Belt Monday at the annual July Fourth hot dog eating contest at Nathan’s Famous in Coney Island on Monday.
Chestnut took the title back from Matt ‘The Megatoad’ Stonie by downing 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes…the most hot dogs ever eaten at the competition. Chestnut set the world record of 69 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes in 2013 and broke that last month in a qualifying event with 70 and half hot dogs and buns.
