Jury selection for the Aaron Hernandez murder trial began today (Jan. 9.) The former New England Patriots tight end is accused of killing 27-year-old Odin Lloyd in June 2013 in an industrial park in North Attleborough. He has pleaded not guilty.

It was a short stay for one potential juror. He was wearing a Bruins jersey and was sent home from court after yelling “Go Pats!”

A Superior Court judge ruled in last month that no NFL or Patriots gear would be allowed in the courthouse during the trial. That ruling has now been extended to all sports attire.
