Kennebunk Restaurant Offering A $40,000 Cocktail!

You have heard of sticker shock, but this takes it to a whole different level! You and your significant other might have been in an upscale restaurant where you might have had to look twice at the prices on the menu, but have you ever seen a cocktail for $40,000? What makes this drink so expensive?Starting on June 1st, The White Barn Inn in Kennebunk will be offering the Ruby Rose cocktail for $40,000! The drink is made with Hangar 1 Vodka, St.Germain elderflower liqueur, fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, pomegranate and a spoonful of rosewater, and a 4-carat ruby!

The Inn is marking its 40th anniversary and the ruby is the gemstone for a 40th wedding anniversary.

The drink will also be offered without the ruby, the cost then goes all the way down to $18.
