I took my daughter, Chloe, to see The Secret Life of Pets yesterday afternoon.  Cute movie, by the way.  I understand when you go to a children's movie, there's going to be chatty kiddos.  Kids not sitting still.  I can accept that.  It's a children's movie.  But here's what I don't understand.

When you're child is crying so loud through the entire movie...and you stay there and not take the child out of the theater.  We experienced this yesterday.  Now, I never saw the child, but it was obvious he/she did NOT want to be there and verbally expressed that through words and tears over and over and over again.

I get it.  I've been there and done that.  I've had a child cry just as a movie was starting.  Want to know what I did?  I got up and left with the child.  Not just for the child's sake...but for ALL the paying customers sitting in the theater with you.  If none of that matters...then for your own sanity...leave the theater!!
