Lee Brice and the 'Life Off My Years' Tour rolled into Augusta last night. The show featured new artists Dylan Scott and Clare Dunn as the opening acts. The civic center was roughly about 80 percent filled and ready to have some fun.

The show started with Dylan Scott. He seems to have that 'it' factor about him. His vocals were solid, if not always perfect. But, the songs were fun and he was very engaging with the audience. Solid start to the show.

Clare Dunn was next and she was in some aspect the opposite of Dylan Scott. Her vocals were nearly flawless, however her songs were way too rock for my liking. She did one song called 'Old Hat' where she played acoustically and that was so much better than the rest of her set.

Lee Brice took the stage and his vocals were very solid and his show was decidedly more country than the opening acts and very high energy. He often told the civic center audience of how appreciative that we came to hear him sing.

He opened with 'Hard To Love' and then after about 6 or 7 songs, he had a big surprise for the crowd, Jerrod Niemann came on stage! They sang a song they just wrote together and it sounded like a fun summer anthem to my ears. Then Jerrod rocked the house with his hit 'Drink To That All Night'. That was the switch that drove the audience into another level of excitement. From there on out the show was fantastic.

Overall, I thought it was a very strong show. If you were there we'd love to hear what you thought.
