Local Family Featured In Brad Paisley Video Meets With Morning Buzz

UPDATE: Brad Paisley will be on the Ellen Show this afternoon (11/11/16) and will talk about local family featured in his new music video 'Today'.

What a beautiful story.  I remember when I saw this video go viral last year.  When I saw it, I had no idea that this family was local.  Before I go into the story behind this viral video, I want to share that this family was recently featured in Brad Paisley's new video 'Today'.  A music video perfectly compiled of touching stories reminding you of the importance of Today.  

When a bride walks down the aisle, she always imagines her dad by her side.  Together they walk arm in arm, until the moment dad gives the bride away to the awaiting groom.  That's how Heather always pictured her wedding.  But, sadly, her father was wheelchair bound due to a battle with Leukemia.  The idea of standing side by side with her father was slowly disappearing.

Months before the wedding, dad secretly worked with his physical therapist.  He was determined to walk down the aisle and give his baby girl away to the man of her dreams.  Heather had no idea dad was working so hard to meet his goal.  This was the result of his hard work and determination:

This is a story of inspiration and not letting big things get you down.  We should all focus on the here and now and live like there is no tomorrow.
