Love and Theft, Florida Georgia Line Surprise Jake Owen Wearing Only Underwear
Country duos Love and Theft and Florida Georgia Line pranked Jake Owen in a way he’s sure not to soon forget. During a recent stop on the CMT tour, the four men showed up onstage in just boots and underwear — or ‘adult diapers’ — with pacifiers in their mouths and ‘bottles’ of beer, meant to celebrate Owen’s new baby.
If Owen was embarrassed, it didn’t prevent him from getting through a cover of ‘Jump’ by Van Halen. The four singers did wear shorts or boxers beneath their tighty whities, but all except Stephen Barker Liles of Love and Theft were proud to show off their manly chests.
Owen is getting a peek at all sorts of new things in recent weeks. As the father of a new baby girl he’s likely not seeing many restful nights, but there’s little doubt he’s enjoying little Pearl‘s first noises and cries.
