Maine Egg Farmers Donating 100,000 Eggs to Good Shepard

Just in time for Easter, Maine egg farmers are donating 100,000 eggs to the Good Shepard Food Bank in Auburn.

According to usnews.com and federal statistics more than 200,000 Mainers’ have poor access to nutritious food each year, that’s about 15% of households in the state.

Hillandale Farms in Turner is donating 9,000 dozen eggs to help with protein foods like eggs.
