Maine Gas Prices Are Down Again This Week

It's going to be a busy Labor Day weekend on the roads and Maine motorists will be catching a break at the gas pumps. The average retail gasoline price in Maine fell by almost 3 cents per gallon in the past week, for an average of $3.50 per gallon.

That is according to the price-monitoring website gasbuddy.com.

The national average also dropped this week to an average of $3.43 a gallon.

Gas prices in Maine have dropped 16 cents over the past month.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported at a gas station in Bangor at $3.32 a gallon.
