Maine Gas Prices Continue To Drop

Maine motorists will be spending less as they gas up their vehicle for that labor day trip to the beach. According to the price-monitoring website gasbuddy.com, gas prices in Maine were down seven cents per gallon this past week for an average of $3.49 a gallon.

That is a drop of almost 20 cents per gallon over the past month.

The national average for a gallon of gas is at $3.45 a gallon.

The lowest gas prices in the state was reported at a gas station in Bangor at $3.37 a gallon, several gas stations had a $3.39 price, including in Augusta.
