Maine Gas Prices Continue To Drop

The downward trend continues for gas prices here in Maine; and nationally.

According to the price monitoring site Gas Buddy, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine this week is at $2.243 a gallon, which is down a penny from last weeks average price of $2.253 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price for a gallon of gas is at $2.284, which is down from last weeks national average of $2.290 a gallon.

We searched locally for the lowest gas prices in Central Maine, and in Augusta, the lowest price we could find was at the C & S Market 785 Riverside Drive, and at the Irving Station at 25 Western Ave, both of which are checking in with gas at $2.17 a gallon.

In Waterville, the cheapest places we could find to buy gas are at the Shell Station at 500 Kennedy Memorial Dr and at the Irving Station at 445 Kennedy Memorial Dr both reporting gas at $2.24 a gallon.
