Maine Gas Prices Down This Week

Memorial Day Weekend is this weekend and the summer travel season is here! Some good news for Maine motorists, gas prices has slowly been falling over the past few weeks. According to the price-monitoring website gasbuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Maine dropped by 2.5 cents a gallon to $3.67.

The National average is at $3.62 a gallon.

We are still paying over 12 cents a gallon more than at the same time last year.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported at a gas station in Bangor and Auburn with gas at $3.53 a gallon.

Arkansas has the lowest gas prices in the country, with an average of $3.35 a gallon.
