Maine Gas Prices Drop For The 7th Straight Week

Good news for drivers in Maine, gas prices fell for the seventh straight week. This week according to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com the average retail price of gas in Maine fell just over a penny a gallon this past week, to $3.46.Gas in Maine is now 33 cents lower than a year ago, however Maine gas prices are still 10 cents higher than the national average.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were found in Saco and Bidderford at $3.26 a gallon.

Missouri has the nation's lowest average gas prices, with a gallon of gas coming in at $3.04.

The lowest gas price in the country was found in Allen, Texas with a gallon of gas coming in at $2.79.
