Maine Gas Prices Dropping

Gasoline prices in Maine have now fallen for a second week in a row. According to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com, the average gallon of gas in Maine is down to $3.66. That's down 6 cents in the past week.New Hampshire has the lowest gas prices in New England with an average gallon of gas costing $3.56.

South Carolina has the lowest gas prices in the country, with an average of $3.14 a gallon.

Within Maine, the lowest gas price was found in Biddeford at $3.39 a gallon. Several gas stations in Norway and South Paris had gas prices of $3.42 a gallon.

Experts say gas prices should drop 5 to 15 cents a gallon by Halloween.
