Maine Gas Prices Fall 2 Cents Per Gallon

Maine gas prices dropped two cents per gallon this past to an average of $3.78 per gallon, that's according to the price monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com. While that is good news, Maine's average price per gallon is still 14 cents higher per gallon than the national average.Compared to the other New England states, Maine is right in the middle, New Hampshire has the lowest gas price in New England at $3.67 per gallon. The lowest price in the nation is in Wyoming with a gallon of gas averaging $3.26 per gallon.

The lowest price in Maine was found at two gas stations in Cape Elizabeth, with a gallon of gas costing $3.49.
