Maine Gas Prices Fall For 8th Straight Week

Gas prices in Maine have dropped for the eight consecutive week. According to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com, the average gallon of gas in Maine is now $3.44 a gallon. That is down two cents from last week, but is still 14 cents higher than the national average.Gas prices within the state vary greatly. The lowest price of $3.21 a gallon was found in Saco. In central Maine, the lowest gas prices are in Auburn at $3.26 a gallon.

The lowest gas prices nationally are in Missouri at $2.95 a gallon.

The lowest gas price I could find was in Plano, Texas, at $2.66 a gallon!
