Maine Gas Prices Inch Higher This Week

Maine gas prices this week went up about once cent per gallon. In a week that saw increased prices early in the week and then saw prices drop later in the week, ended up with an average of $2.39 per gallon up one cent from last week.

Nationally the average was $2.38 per gallon, a drop of less than one cent per gallon.

The lowest gas price in Maine was reported at a gas station in Biddeford at $2.23 per gallon.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas price in the country at $2.08.

A barrel of crude oil was at $51.64.
