Maine Gas Prices Remain Steady

Summer officially begins this Friday, that means summer vacations to camp, the beach, hiking and using more gas. Good news, gas prices in Maine are holding steady, as we head towards the first day of summer.According to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com, the average gallon of gas in Maine, had risen by less than a penny a gas to $3.56.

Maine's gas price is 5-cents less than the national average.

New Hampshire has New England's lowest gas prices with an average gallon at $3.48.

South Carolina has the United States lowest average gas prices at $3.22 a gallon.

The lowest price in Maine was found in Saco.
