Maine Gas Prices Rising

If you've noticed gas prices inching up at your local gas station, you would be correct. According to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com the average retail cost of a gallon of gasoline was jump nearly three cents in the past week.

The average retail cost of a gallon of gas in Maine is now $3.51. The national average also went up three cents a gallon this week but is much lower at $3.27 per gallon.

The lowest prices in Maine were in Cape Elizabeth at $3.34 per gallon.
