Maine Gas Prices Slightly Higher This Week

Gas prices in Maine inched up and average of one cent per gallon this week. The statewide average is now at $2.38 per gallon.

Prices vary greatly across the state. The lowest price in Maine of $2.19 a gallon was found in South Paris. Closer to Augusta, a gas station in Manchester was reporting a gallon of gas at $2.20.

The national average is also $2.38 per gallon, that's down almost four cents per gallon from last week.

South Carolina has the country's lowest gas prices with an average of $2.07 per gallon.
