Maine Gas Prices Stable This Week

Maine gas prices were essentially unchanged this week. They dropped about a half a cent per gallon this week and are averaging statewide at $2.79 per gallon. Nationally, the gas prices have dropped one cent per gallon for an average of $2.76 per gallon.

Gas prices in Maine are five cents a gallon higher over the past month and are 95 cents per gallon lower than one year ago.

The lowest reported gas price in Maine was reported at a gas station in Bangor, with a gallon of gas coming in at $2.58 per gallon.
