Maine Gas Prices Up Sharply For Second Week In A Row

According to the price-monitoring website GasBuddy.com, gas prices in Maine were 4 cents higher this past week. Maine's average for a gallon of gas is $3.59, that's 15 cents higher than the national average.Montana and South Carolina have the lowest gas prices in the country, with an average of $3.14 a gallon.

The lowest gas prices in Maine were reported at a gas station in Scarborough at $3.41 a gallon.

The lowest gas price that I could find in the country was in North Augusta, South Carolina with one station selling gas at $2.85 a gallon!
