Maine Gas Prices Up Sharply

It looks like the $2 a gallon gas was too good to be true. Maine gas prices rose 10.5 cents per gallon in just the past week. The statewide average is now at $2.20 per gallon.

The national average was 12.6 cents higher and is now at $2.17 per gallon.

Patrick DeHaan, a senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy, expects gas prices to go even higher in the next few weeks.
