Maine Gas Prices Up Slightly This Week

Maine gas prices were up by just over one cent per gallon this past week, according to the price-monitoring website MaineGasPrices.com. The average price for a gallon of gas in Maine is now $3.48 a gallon, that's 24 cents above the national average.The lowest gas prices in Maine were found at a gas station in Litchfield, at $3.38 a gallon.

The lowest gas prices were in Oklahoma, at $2.90 a gallon. There are six states that have an average of under $3 a gallon.

Only seven states and Washington D.C. had a higher average gas price than Maine.

The cheapest gallon of gas that I could find was in Ogallala, Nebraska, with a gallon of gas going for $2.66!

I noticed that the gas station near my house has gone from $3.49 a gallon to $3.57 a gallon. What are you paying for a gallon of gas?
