Maine Has Less Population Than New Hampshire For First Time In Over 200 Years

Maine might be the way life should be, but more people would now rather live free of die. The latest census figures estimated that New Hampshire has 1,280 more people than Maine.

Maine has logged more deaths than births, in fact, Maine is one of seven states with an estimated drop in population from 2014 to 2015.

Since 1890, Maine's population has grown by 45%, while New Hampshire has seen a 150% increase during the same time period.
